Fedelmia was born in Derry City, Northern Ireland. Fedelmia won many championships in her competitive career including placing first or second for seven consecutive years at the Oireachtas Championships. She danced and recalled nine times at the World Championships in Ireland. She is a member of I.D.T.A.N.A. and the Mid-Atlantic region. She is a certified teacher, T.C.R.G. with An Comisiun in Ireland which entitles her students to compete in competitions around the world. Also, she is a certified Adjudicator, A.D.C.R.G. with An Comisiun and travels around the country judging various competitions. Her son Kenny, won the Oireachtas championships four times consecutively and her daughter Heather, was also a championship dancer. Fedelmia has been teaching for 15 years in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
